The remainder is incinerated or dispersed into the environment. And it doesn’t stop there! In general, plastic is recycled into products of equal value only once or twice, after which it decreases in quality and undergoes a downcycling process. From that moment it is used for different and inferior applications compared with those for which it was conceived.
WE ARE CONSUMING THE FUTURE
What does this mean?
It means that the only way to reverse climate change and decrease our footprint on the planet is by changing our shopping habits.
Frantic consumption, jumping at discounts and choices that do not take into consideration materials are direct causes of waste, with a strong impact on the environment.
It is for this very reason that in 2021 we decided not to take part in Black Friday:
on November 26, our stores and e-commerce have remained closed.
It is an invitation to become aware of the consequences of our choices and of ours purchases.
A stop, to start again more aware and more committed.
Don’t consume the future, consume responsibly.
What can you do?
Four tips for living the Organic way.
Transform conscious consumption into a lifestyle.
PLASTIC IS NOT A SUSTAINABLE CHOICE
What if we told you that only 18% of the world’s plastic is actually recycled?
LESS USELESS PACKAGING, MORE SUBSTANCE
Are layers and layers of packaging and pages and pages of package inserts really necessary?
The environmental damage caused by these elements far outweighs their benefits.
CHOOSE CONCENTRATED PRODUCTS
Have you ever had to use large quantities of a product to get the feeling that it actually works?
Unlike concentrated ones, some products have very diluted formulas and low in active ingredients.
BIODYNAMIC INGREDIENTS, CLEAN FORMULAS
Do you really know what’s inside the formulas you use on your hair or on your skin?
In traditional cosmetics, it is common to find formulations based on petroleum derivatives and synthetic substances. Natural processes, on the other hand, guarantee richer and purer ingredients.
